www.note2map.com (formerly www.buildglobaltracker.com) is a free and easy-to-use platform that allows you to customise and add notes to an interactive world map, and to publish your map on a public link for others to view and interact with. Create your own global trackers, map visualisers, market analysis tools, travel diaries, or whenever you want to annotate or track on a world map. Your access and use of this platform is subject to these terms of service.
How to use
Click or search for a country on the world map below and add/edit your notes for that country. You can customise the colour of each country, as well as save, open, delete, back up or publish your work. No login or registration is required. Instead, you will be automatically assigned a random unique ID to protect your anonomity.
Your content
At all times, you are responsible for your content. Any content that you produce and save on the platform will be locally stored on your browser. You are responsible for backing up your content, otherwise you will lose your content if your browser cache and cookies are cleared. Your content is never sent to our servers or anyone else, unless you decide to publish your map to the public web. If do you publish your map, your content will be stored on our central server for us to be able to publish your map on a public link.
